A five-day training of Modern Farming techniques was conducted by NTPC Mouda for farmers of nearby project affected villages. The training was conducted from 23 to 27 November 2021 through implementing partner 'FARM Bridge Social Support Foundation'.

The training was organized for both male and female farmers with the objective of their empowerment by demonstrating hand tools, capacity building and improving efficiency of manual labour. It also included ways to increase income and decrease labour drudgeries. After the training concluded, hand tools were also handed over to each Gram Panchayat.

The training also focused on adoption of techniques introduced in the previously conducted workshops. A total of 150 male and 50 female farmers benefited from this initiative. This is the third farmer training that NTPC Mouda has organized within the current year.
